Oxford Teachers' Club is an online set of very useful resources and tools. The main aim is to support course books published by Oxford University Press, but you can use some of the most useful tools even if you don't use any OUP course materials.
In particular, you can use the Cloze Maker and Crossword Maker tools.
I've made a short video to show you how to use Cloze Maker and Crossword Maker. Click on the play arrow to start: you can enter full screen mode at the bottom right.
Note that the video guidance on how to access Cloze Maker has been superseded: here are the new instructions. I'll update the video in due course.
- click on the Teachers' Club tab in the blue tool bar - search for cloze maker in the search box at the top right - choose the first hit (which will lead to PET Result) - select I want to use my own text, and follow the instructions from there. Have the text you want to use ready so that you can copy and paste it into the window when prompted. This tool is still available but will be replaced during 2020 as it runs using Flash, which will be discontinued. Note that to use it, your computer must have Flash installed.
