Use pictures to develop the langauge of comparing and contrasting.
Put your learners into pairs or small groups.
​Ask them to talk about:
- what is shown in the upper picture?
- what is shown in the lower picture?
- what similarities are there between the two pictures?
- what differences are there between the two pictures?
